TypePOT takes its name from two simple ideas: Type, representing typography, and POT, a vessel that holds something valuable.
A pot brings things together in one place. In the same spirit, TypePOT was created to bring fonts together in a space where they can be discovered, organized, explored, and put to use.
But our vision goes beyond managing fonts.
Typography is a language of its own, connecting people, cultures, and ideas. Yet, not every font can represent every character. When a font lacks the glyph needed to display a character, it may appear as an empty box — commonly known as tofu.
A character should never be left out simply because a font cannot display it.
That is why TypePOT embraces broader character support, helping users work with diverse writing systems and discover fonts that better serve their creative needs.
From familiar Latin letters to the many characters used across languages and cultures, we believe typography should make room for more.
